Welcome
Professionally managed and operated and volunteer supported, Centrepointe Theatre
is a world-class venue with a warm, intimate atmosphere: artists love to play here, and
guests feel right at home! With almost 1,000 seats, it′s the second-largest theatre
in the national capital region. For 20 years Centrepointe Theatre has hosted a vast array
of performers from Canada and around the world and has presented more Juno-winning artists
than any other theatre in the region. We′re known as a "you saw them here
first" theatre: future superstars getting their first opportunity to perform on the
big stage.
Enjoy the benefits of membership with Front & Centre, Centrepointe Theatre′s
professional arts presenting program. Front & Centre features dozens of events in all
performing arts genres while offering advance sales, ticket discounts and "first
notice" of major performers coming to Ottawa. Just this year, big names in the Front
& Centre series include Russell Peters, Paul Potts, Daniel Lanois, Oliver Jones and
Colin James.
Centrepointe Theatre is also host venue to shows that are produced and performed by
community presenters. The largest of these, Orpheus Musical Theatre Society and the Savoy
Society of Ottawa, each present musical productions throughout the season performed by
outstanding local, community talent.
We look forward to greeting you at Ottawa′s theatre, Centrepointe Theatre.

At the 2009 Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards on March 12th, Centrepointe Theatre took top honours in the Performing Arts Centre of the Year award (under 1500 capacity) category.
